One more thing on the scrimmage. Some unofficial pass-completion stats: JT Daniels: 14-23 Jack Sears: 10-12 Matt Fink: 10-10 Kevon Slovis: 7-17 Continue reading One More Thing About Scrimmage

Here are some reasons some in the media have proclaimed JT Daniels way ahead in the QB derby after one week: They don’t want to upset his father They don’t want to upset JT They know Clay Helton will pick JT They don’t know most players want someone else They want to go with the USC-pushed story line They don’t think Graham Harrell will make … Continue reading USC List Of The Day

Clay Helton says he is going to until at least this Saturday’s open scrimmage before he names a starting quarterback. Why? The first week of practices had exactly two full-pad workouts. Another sham. Just like the QB derby. DBs … Continue reading Camp Helton Paranoia

Since Clay Helton claimed the Notre Dame game was an epiphany for him from an offensive standpoint, let me reiterate this point: JT Daniels passed for 105 yards in the second half after Notre Dame adjusted to an offense it had not seen on film before the game. And USC failed to score in the second half until the final minute of the game. The … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: Clay Helton’s Turning Point?
