Ed Orgeron has the nation’s No. 1-ranked team and he has ranked No. 1 in the way he has destroyed USC all-the-way from LSU this season. Marcus Allen is on the sideline tonight with John Robinson at the LSU-Texas A&M game. Allen didn’t even show up at USC in 2016 when his bobblehead was given away at the Coliseum. In fairness to USC, Allen hasn’t … Continue reading Ed Orgeron Nails USC . . . Again
Is Utah going to be Utah-like and not accept it is much better than Colorado? Of course they can’t make it look easy at the beginning of this game. Colorado leads 7-0 in first quarter. USC to Pac-12 title game! Utah wakes up and ties the game, 7-7, on Tyler Hunley’s TD pass. Utah scores another TD and leads 14-7 and Mike Bohn is probably … Continue reading Utah Being Utah Early
One of the worst things I heard from a former USC assistant coach today was that Carol Folt and Mike Bohn might retain Clay Helton because they don’t want to be accountable by hiring their own football coach. Well guess what, if you keep Helton, you own him. Just like Lynn Swann did. The fans won’t give anyone a pass for keeping Helton. Continue reading USC Quick Thought

That would make it easier to remove Helton because USC will not be in the Pac-12 title game. A USC coach I spoke to Friday believes Sunday will be D-Day for … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: Only One Game Today
Did Andy Enfield have a game plan today for Marquette? Markus Howard had 51 points so no defensive plan for him. Howard had zero resistance. But worse, yes worse, was that USC had a huge height advantage and it doesn’t play through its big men. It’s just the same disorganized run-and-gun offense Enfield always runs. Do you ever see him doing any coaching on the … Continue reading Thanks, Enfield!
Everyone should be advising Mike Bohn right now. You can email him at uscad@usc.edu. Imagine if USC does not win the Pac-12 South and then loses in the Alamo Bowl? What will January be like for Bohn? Will USC even have a recruiting dinner in early February? About 100 people attended last year and there used to be 400-500 on a regular basis. I just … Continue reading It Could Be A Long January At USC
