USC Picture Of The Day

This is from the first quarter of the USC-Notre Dame game in 1973, when Irish cornerback Luther Bradley knocked Trojans wide receiver Lynn Swann’s helmet off his head.

  1. Playing in the SC vs ND game, you better buckle up the helmet and the mouth piece. There is no love between each other. Every play each player from each school wants to make a mark in the history of the greatest rivalry of all time. Nothing is better than watching that game

  2. A friend and teammate of mine probably has it. He played pop Warner and high school. He had two skull fractures and many concussions. Even back then before they officially acknowledged it, us, the players knew the hazards of playing. But it was too much fun seeing the hits being placed on your opponent to stop playing. Btw, he says he would do it all over again, likewise I would too.
