USC wide receiver Trevon Sidney and defensive end Oluwole Betiku visited Illinois this weekend.
The pair are looking for schools after deciding to leave USC in January.
Why Illinois? Defensive line coach Austin Clark was at USC for the 2016-17 seasons. Cornerbacks coach Keynodo Hudson was at USC from 2011-16.

Two 4-star recruits, both of whom could have gone almost anywhere out of high school. Neither of them developed at all at SC. This is one of the most deficient aspects of the current program.

If you have watched the portal at all, you would have noticed the big number of players transferring out of Illinois. I am sure they will take anyone they can get their hands on.
