Ex-USC Soccer Assistant Pleads Guilty

Laura Janke, the former USC women’s soccer assistant coach, will plead guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit racketeering in the college admissions scandal.

Janke helped create fake profiles for students who were clients of Rick Singer. This could be bad news for people like Donna Heinel, Mossimo Giannulli and Lori Loughlin because Janke is going to cooperate with prosecutors.

Prosecutors recommend a sentence on the low end of Janke’s guideline range, which is 27-33 months in prison.

Toby MacFarlane, a former senior executive at a title insurance company, will plead guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud. MacFarlane paid $450,000 to Singer so two children could get into USC as athletic recruits.

His son was the famous 5-5 basketball player who was listed as 6-1.

    1. Laura Janke, former Felony U Asst Coach, pleads guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit “RACKETEERING” in the college admissions scandal. That’s one guilty bozo down, and 3 more pending bozo racketeers to go!

I smell a pending, richly deserved, NCAA Death Penalty designation for Felony U.

      1. I would so love to meet you in person Owns. You have to be so pathetic. I bet my 12 year old, already being recruited by U of Utah for volleyball, would beat your dumb arse. She’s a healthy 5’10” and strong. That would be so fun to watch.

    1. Great post, Pudly! After listening to Graham I get the feeling Dan Weber is right —-if USC has any problems this year, they’re not gonna occur on offense. If J. T. can speed up his decision making —-which I think he’s more than capable of doing over the course of the summer —- USC is gonna outscore everybody they play. [And great line & linebacker play will make things way easier on our inexperienced corners].

      1. No clue Pusley old stink.

But I do know Bru McCoy told Clown U to kiss his ass after one week on campus.

Seems McCoy wants to play FB and develop NFL FB skills not taught at Felony U, ghetto home to perverts, racketeers & cheap, bony bimbos.

  1. This is very bad news for the USC people that pleaded not guilty. Not only will more people be testifying against Donna Heinel, Jovan Vavic, and Ali Khosroshahin, but they won’t have the advantage of knowing what their testimony will be. The prosecution doesn’t have divulge anything more to the defense, other than who they will have testifying against them. Look for Khosroshahin and Vavic to receive a 3-4 year sentence. And Heinel will be the second biggest loser after Singer. I look for her to receive an 8-10 year sentence in the pokey!

    1. You’re right about where the ones who refused to accept the feds offer – man it is not going to be easy for them and also about what Heinel is facing….as you stated, she deserves it all and Singer even more.

Amazing the scam lasted as long as it did 6 years (2012-2018) as usual greed skyrocketed.

The only play I’ve seen is that move made by Heinel’s counsel as to what is in the hands of the feds per tapes etc.. That article late last week in the Times also made note of that ” Mysterious $6.5 million payee” – Make the demand that the feds put that name out there or demand as to why is that person afforded anonymity 5+ weeks after the scandal broke.
