USC has had one student-athlete test positive for COVID-19 according to a statement released on Friday. The program tested 69 student-athletes (56 football. 9 men’s water polo team, 3 women’s soccer and 1 men’s basketball). The one positive student-athlete displayed symptoms for COVID-19 prior to being tested, the statement said, and had not begun voluntary workouts. This student-athlete is now in isolation.
