After the second round of coronavirus tests, USC has had two athletes test positive in two weeks out of 126 tests.

The former USC basketball player, who was the No. 1 player in the nation in 2006 but had eight surgeries in six years, has signed with the WNBA’s Connecticut Sun.

More than 3,100 have signed this petition against dissolving alumni clubs.

The jersey numbers of Harold Miner and Bill Sharman will be worn next season, even though USC said it retired the jerseys in 2012 and 2007, respectively. Speaking of Miner, his daughter, Kami, has committed to Stanford women’s volleyball.

USC students

Unfortunately, most classes will be online for the fall semester because of the pandemic. Some have off-campus housing contracts to deal with. Time for a gap year.

The new dean of the Marshall School of Business announced all undergraduate and graduate classes for the fall semester will be online.

  1. So the real reason behind cancelling the grass-roots alum clubs is…drum roll please…to impose centralized control, collect data, and increase donations. What the university doesn’t get is that alums did this because it was something THEY enjoyed planning and creating and doing, and that it created a lot of value for USC without them doing much whatsoever. Seems like this is a mistake…

  3. If USC changes the name of Cromwell Field, the new name should be Allice Field, in honor of former USC head track and field coach Ron Allice. Allice was responsible for revitalizing USC’s track and field program, during a time when the program was in the dumps due to the reduction in scholarships. He raised the money for the badly needed new track stadium and locker rooms. Allice was responsible for getting Katherine Loker to donate the money for this new track stadium. He also got USC Norris Cancer to help sponsor televising all of the dual track and field meets with UCLA. Allice was a very successful coach during his 19 years at USC. And he was always building and improving the track and field program. This one is a no brainer. It should be renamed Allice Field!

      1. So if there was no Russian interference in the 2016 General Election, if it was all a hoax, a scheme by democrats to get Trump then why hasn’t Attorney General Bill Barr been able to show evidence of democrst wrongdoing?

        Bill Barr has the DOJ at his disposal, I.G.’s ( the ones that haven’t been fired by Trump ) have supposedly been looking into evidence that the democrats concocted this whole deal with the Russians, so where are the indictments of all these democrsts involved?

        We’ve been hearing for years that Trump’s appointed I.G.’s are finalizing reports that will expose these so called corrupt democrats, so when are we going to see these reports?

        How about we see the unredacted Mueller Report and Grand Jury Testimony into the Russian intereference that Trump and Barr have been fighting toorh and nail to hide from the public?

        When Trump gets voted out in November and come January when Kamala Harris replaces Bill Barr as Attorney General, Trump, Barr and their corrupt cohorts are all going to be in for a world of hurt because Kamala Harris is going to investigate and prosecute the shit out of those corrupt assholes.

        I wouldn’t be surprised when Trump is voted out in November, he doesn’t stick around to swear Joe Biden in, instead he defects immediately to Russia.

      2. I can answer your question. Please read the answer, ok? You don’t have to agree with it (I don’t expect you to, actually) —- but, at least, listen to what’s really going on. The case that Durham is trying to put together against Comey, Brennan and others requires a high level of proof on “corrupt intent” —Durham has to be able to nail this element beyond a reasonable doubt to the unanimous satisfaction of 12 jurors.
        I’ve done political corruption cases — I understand how difficult the intent requirement is to prove. Durham is trying to satisfy himself that he’s got enough to GUARANTEE a victory, not just invite one. It’s a process every prosecutor goes through (cuz ONCE you’ve filed, you are either in for a VERY public victory or a VERY public defeat). It’s easy to spread rumors to the effect Trump was urinating on prostitutes in a Moscow hotel, it’s difficult to dot all the “i”s and cross all the “t”‘s in a high level political corruption case.
        Give Durham time. It’s coming.

Unfortunately his “take no prisoners” running style (hurdling tacklers at the goal line, punishing guys instead of running outta bounds) led to some injuries…..which I really hope Markese is lucky enough to avoid this season….
