Important Announcement About USC Blog

When I started this blog 29 months ago, it was going to be more of a hobby after covering USC for more than 20 years.

I never imagined it would grow to its current size and attract such a loyal audience.

Well, now it’s time to grow even more. Today, I’m taking the InsideUSC blog to Sports Illustrated. The new address is https://www.si.com/college/usc/

The new USC blog will be the same in many ways but will have much more video, more recruiting and a stronger “community” area for comments. I hope you will join me at the new site for even more USC coverage.

No biggie though SI is not my go to sports magazine this year is supposed to feature a trans swimsuit model. That isn’t why I don’t like SI I don’t look at the pictures – they have a bias against SC going back to when the swimsuit issues featured painted on suits.😀

  24. Hard to top EVIL so I won’t try. However as this is probably our last chance to relive old times, I’d like to leave on a lighter note.
    For my 50 years of watching college football, I’ve got to say that I’ve enjoyed the CAL-SC games. Most of the time we came up a little short but not for lack of effort. I would like to remind some of the POS SC boosters that lurk here-some of you are the biggest pains in the ass I have ever met & it was oh so sweet when CAL came out on top. You can call CAL alums whatever you like but remember, there is a reason CAL occupies nearly twice as much NFL cap space as SC with far fewer guys a lot of whom were walk ons. As for the ruins, ppffffftttt!!!
    So I leave you with a little smile-the best QB in SoCal.

      2. There was something cool about Scottie’s homegrown website, with hardcore Trojan fans (and hardcore trolls) freely posting about anything and everything Trojan. No holds barred.

        The new, corporate one, just doesn’t have the same feel. Which is strange to say, because what is the big deal, after all? But in any case, it doesn’t seem many regulars have migrated over, and without a coordinated effort, it really won’t hit the right notes.
