Important Announcement About USC Blog

When I started this blog 29 months ago, it was going to be more of a hobby after covering USC for more than 20 years.

I never imagined it would grow to its current size and attract such a loyal audience.

Well, now it’s time to grow even more. Today, I’m taking the InsideUSC blog to Sports Illustrated. The new address is https://www.si.com/college/usc/

The new USC blog will be the same in many ways but will have much more video, more recruiting and a stronger “community” area for comments. I hope you will join me at the new site for even more USC coverage.

    1. Not so fast, gt! It’s a well established fact NFL players say the words “compassion” and “brotherhood” WAY more than cops do…… cops act like separating drunks in liquor store parking lot brawls, saving kids from abusive parents, and preventing rapes in progress is a big deal….. Speaking personally, the only people I admire are people who virtue signal before games and say the words “human rights”….. or start crying while talking about social justice issues they never cared about until 2020….

    1. I guess the Atlantic readers are OK with Vlad Putin, Kim Jung Un, Xi Jinping (who’s locked up about 1,000,000 ethnic Muslim Uighurs in “re-indoctrination”–slave labor–camps) and Julien Assange?

      1. Here’s what we know about Sang. He/she has an education (can write nice —if overly nasty— sentences), says he/she is a Washington fan, went on record acknowledging Helton is incompetent …. but doesn’t like comments that tend to knock Bohn.
Fun experiment: let’s start ONLY knocking Bohn …and see what happens.

  3. The Bidens’ Love Story

    The Bidens’ Love Story
Joe and his wife, Jill, are fond of telling the story of their romance. However, the information has varied over time. In one, Biden’s brother, Frank, fixes them up after Joe sees Jill’s picture in an ad at the airport. In another, they are fixed up on a blind date, and Joe had no idea who he was meeting until he picked her up.

Jill’s ex-husband tells a very different story. Bill Stevenson alleges he and Jill worked on Biden’s first campaign for the Senate in 1972 before Biden’s wife died in a car crash. He says he considered Biden a friend.

Stevenson owned the Steel Balloon, which hosted high-profile rock bands. He first became suspicious when Jill had the opportunity to meet Bruce Springsteen and declined because she was going to take care of Biden’s young sons, Beau and Hunter, after their mother’s death.

He believes Biden and Jill began an affair at some point after Neilia Biden’s death, which was confirmed to him in October of 1974 when Biden and Jill were allegedly in a fender-bender in Jill’s car. At that point, Stevenson asked Jill to leave, and she did.

Stevenson was listed as one of the top 50 most influential men in the last 50 years in Delaware, along with Biden on a 2012 list. He is an entrepreneur and businessman who recently sold a product to Scotts Miracle-Gro. It doesn’t seem like he’s telling tales for a payday, and the Biden’s have not commented.

  5. How Biden and Obama “accidentally” partnered with an American-hating, anti-Semitic regime and all the Fake News Mediacrats, Deep State and Globalists swooned:

VICTOR DAVIS HANSON: The Bad Iranian Deal Was Always Going to Get Worse.

The deal, after all, was a monstrosity born out of desperation for an Obama signature legacy.

Or was it a product of an ahistorical, naïve, and therapeutic view of human nature — assuming that even theocrats and thugs view generosity as outreach to be reciprocated in kind rather than as abject proof of weakness to be exploited to the fullest?

Or worse still, the deal was the manifestation of an unhinged view of the Middle East.

For Obama, a revolutionary Shiite and Persian Iran was justified in seeking parity in the Middle East and attempting to carve out a legitimate sphere of influence.

The ascendance of such an Iranian crescent, at least in the view of the Obama administration, would “check” the influence of both democratic Israel and the so-called more moderate authoritarian Sunni regimes in the Gulf and Egypt and Jordan.

    https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2020/09/11/joe-biden-trump-accidentally-making-peace-between-israel-and-arab-states/#

To believe in such a yarn, Obama would have to have believed either in some sort of dramatic and looming Iranian revolution to overthrow the mullahs, or an absurd theocratic enlightenment, or that whatever Iran did would not be as pernicious as what its enemies in the Middle East were doing.

No matter: For all practical purposes, the U.S. after 2015 was a de facto partner of the Iranian regime and quite astonishingly assumed that the American-hating, anti-Semitic regime “could be a very successful regional power.”

Just think of them as Iranian intelligence agents with American security credentials, and you won’t go far wrong.

  6. Guess what quote is missing at the Martin Luther King Memorial in Washington DC?

Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial: Revisiting His True Message

The Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial in Washington D.C. at the site he gave his famous “I Have a Dream” speech has become controversial because of the amount of money spent on the monument, the fact it was created by a Red Chinese architect, and the belief that it misrepresents King. Thanks, Obama!

There has been criticism that the monument is “Red Chinese communist” architecture, it has been criticized for representing a politically divisive king rather than one of an American Christian, and also that it portrays King as an “authoritarian figure” rather than someone who spoke of “racial equality for blacks.” It also misrepresents King because it does not focus on his “dream” of racial equality. If one wants to the monument to be meaningful, it is important for us to remember what Martin Luther King, Jr. really stood for instead of the image that many Democras and racist blacks have crafted of him. The “I Have a Dream” speech was an iconic and a significant moment in the Civil Rights Movement. The speech is best known for the stanzas where King discusses his dream, especially this one:

“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”

Yet Obama made sure it is not found at the Martin Luther King monument. Obama was the most divisive president in Aemrican history. And Senile Joe was his lackey.
