Important Announcement About USC Blog

When I started this blog 29 months ago, it was going to be more of a hobby after covering USC for more than 20 years.

I never imagined it would grow to its current size and attract such a loyal audience.

Well, now it’s time to grow even more. Today, I’m taking the InsideUSC blog to Sports Illustrated. The new address is https://www.si.com/college/usc/

The new USC blog will be the same in many ways but will have much more video, more recruiting and a stronger “community” area for comments. I hope you will join me at the new site for even more USC coverage.

      2. For the fencing scenes, Gene Kelly version (some very athletic duels). For the sincerity and warmth, the Walter Abel version (with music, I think, by the great Max Steiner). The Abel version’s tremendous affection for the scene where D’artangan’s father gives D’artangan his sword [compared to the comedic treatment the scene receives in the Kelly version] puts the Abel version over the top in my opinion.

  50. The time has come to say clearly what many of us have muttered for a long time:

    BLM… the Marxist-led Black Lives Matter… is the modern version of the KKK.

    The skin colors may be different but the murderous instincts and racist loathing are the same.

    The veneer of social justice is less than paper thin. “No justice, no peace,” is the hollowest slogan imaginable.

    It’s all about acting out like a bunch of crazies in a Hieronymus Bosch painting, except now they’re drugged out on fentanyl, meth or whatever.

    Evil is on the march in this country.

    The question is who is putting the rioters, looters, and destroyers up to their mayhem?

    Who, for example, rented the U-Haul from which, video shows, all sorts of ad hoc weaponry was disgorged to the supposedly peaceful protestors before the Taylor decision came down?

    And who paid that person and so on?
