Important Announcement About USC Blog

When I started this blog 29 months ago, it was going to be more of a hobby after covering USC for more than 20 years.

I never imagined it would grow to its current size and attract such a loyal audience.

Well, now it’s time to grow even more. Today, I’m taking the InsideUSC blog to Sports Illustrated. The new address is https://www.si.com/college/usc/

The new USC blog will be the same in many ways but will have much more video, more recruiting and a stronger “community” area for comments. I hope you will join me at the new site for even more USC coverage.

They have convinced themselves that POTUS has “destroyed the country” and consequently that everyone should avail themselves of all means necessary to destroy him. Interestingly, unemployment for Blacks and Hispanics was at all time lows just before COVID. And median household income was rising sharply. All groups were doing better. It would have been hard to imagine a better economy. Does anyone in that camp ever cite that? Allude to it? Anything?

      3. Michael, I hear what you are saying about Dukakis. I got to know him just a bit some years ago. Your thinking is correct, though in his own way I think he loved the country and is more principled than much of what we see today from left.

      2. At one time, it was the best in the world. They never expected teacher’s unions to take over, “tenure” nearly every teacher after 18 months, and then get stuck with some bad apples that f it up beyond belief.
        Progressives get it so wrong. School choice, merit-based pay, tenure reform would do a world of good for all those crappy schools in poor neighborhoods, where parents dont have the budget for private schools. But instead, they go with the unions 100%, they fight school choice, fight charter schools, and year after year, wind up with the same crappy schools, and then see the poor kids not have a chance at succeeding in college. The progressives are the enemies of poor people.

So another Deep State employee supposedly spends 5 months investigating corruption within the DOJ and FBI, and when he is expected to deliver his report, he unexpectedly resigns, without delivering any findings and accepts a high six figures/low seven figures paid position in the private sector. His actions and new employer needs to be inspected to see if the new job is above board, or just a pay off to silence an AG that is investigating people within the Deep State.
