Important Announcement About USC Blog

When I started this blog 29 months ago, it was going to be more of a hobby after covering USC for more than 20 years.

I never imagined it would grow to its current size and attract such a loyal audience.

Well, now it’s time to grow even more. Today, I’m taking the InsideUSC blog to Sports Illustrated. The new address is https://www.si.com/college/usc/

The new USC blog will be the same in many ways but will have much more video, more recruiting and a stronger “community” area for comments. I hope you will join me at the new site for even more USC coverage.

  1. Immediately following the November 2020 Election, Facebook suppressed what it considers “hyperpartisan” news pages, including Breitbart News, while promoting what it considers “authoritative” news pages such as CNN, according to the New York Times.

Well this IS interesting. I am not sure if this site is for me anymore. Each email address used generates a unique symbol that represents the email address. One person on this page has 10 such symbols generated for his username. That is some next level trolling. And none of messages upon this thread has anything to do with the the purpose of the thread. It has developed into a prepubescent name calling.

  3. The Democrats’ efforts to dump hundreds of thousands of Biden votes in the early morning after the election and then set nearly every vote tally after these dumps to a fixed ratio of Trump to Biden votes, where Biden receives the same percent more than Trump, is impossible. There is no way every state would receive these same gigantic amount of votes at around the same time and then more suspicious set the remaining vote tallies at the same percentage of Biden to Trump votes

  4. John MacArthur’s appearance on the Laura Ingraham show discussing Postmodernism in the Democrat Party.

“But sex now is identity. It’s something you are, and what you do after that is self expression and manifest as a right.”

Charles Taylor and Charles Larmore–have also written about the rise of “expressive individualism” (i.e., the demand that the social order should “express” our identities and desires) as characteristic of [post]modernity.

    1. One of the central paradoxes or antimonies of postmodernism is the way that a return to romantic essentialism and identity-thinking (“born this way,” “blackness isn’t a choice,” etc.) co-exists with a Nietzschean insistence on the inherent instability of all supposed essences and identities . . . on, that is, the inherent susceptibility of essences and identities to be deconstructed.

It would seem that postmodernists are governed less by a principle of logical consistency than by a will to power which prompts them to deploy the concepts of essence/anti-essence quite instrumentality, so that they will advance one view or the other depending upon which stance will allow them to “win” an argument in a given rhetorical situation.

    2. In making “identity” the fixed determinant of conduct, postmodernism eliminates, at a theological/metaphysical level, any possible distinction between what Alasdair MacIntyre terms “things as they are” and “things as they should be.”

Even as they make normative claims about society at large (“Down with white supremacist American traditions like Thanksgiving!”), postmodernists foreclose the possibility of making normative claims about matters of personal essence: “Are you attracted to little boys? Go for it! Live into your desires!” In short, the very concept of sin as “missing the mark” (= Greek “hamartia”) is occluded . . . and thus salvation is rendered unnecessary. Thus Post Modernist Democrats of the Black Lives Matter faith now seek “Heaven on Earth” with no means to get there.

  8. The stupid runs strong in libs as a general rule.
They actually believe that they can do whatever they want to do and nobody and nothing can stop them from as much destruction as they can get.
They pushed a ton of incredibly sloppy maneuvers in an all out race to throw an entire election and continue the destruction of America first foreseen in 1914 as the progressive agenda took root.
This may get bloody at some point in time. Libs don’t admit they are wrong without a fight.

  9. Trump; 73M + Senile Joe; 80M = 153M votes Total US pop is 350M. Assume 50% population able to vote then are we to believe 87% pop eligible voted? Sorry Democrats but that only happens in North Korea.

  10. Today in Gettysburg the battle for America turned!

DQ 34,000 illegal votes in NV (6). Then DQ 81,000 illegal votes in PA (20), and a mere 13,000 illegal votes in GA (16)*, and it’s Trump 274, Biden 264. And Trump doesn’t even need to flip the massive number of illegal votes (155,000 to win) in MI (16) or even the tiny 21,000 illegal votes in WI (10) or even a paltry 11,000 illegal votes in AZ (11). Or forget PA, and DQ those miniscule totals in WI and AZ for a 275-263 Trump win.
