USC 7-Game Winning Streak Ends

Looks like Coach Bohn’s post-game speech on Thursday night had a big impact.

Arizona post players Azuolas Tubelis and Jordan Brown bested the Mobley brothers. Brown had 19 points and 13 rebounds while Tubelis had 16 points and 15 rebounds.

The loss snapped USC’s seven-game winning streak and perfect February. USC was outrebounded, 43-36.

Evan Mobley had 23 points and five rebounds but scored only four points in the first half. USC was justt 5 of 18 on 3-pointers before hitting its final two attempts in the final 36 seconds.

USC is 18-4 overall and 12-3 in the Pac-12. UCLA is 11-3 and plays Arizona State tonight.

  1. I vote coaches in the major sports request Bohn have no contact with their players. Listening to a know-nothing before a huge game is not gonna CAUSE a team to lose…. but it doesn’t help them win.
Bohn: Don’t drag your fucking camera crew into another of your rah rah sessions. You’re a joke. And everybody knows it.

  2. Ouch! SUCC loses at HOME! UCLA defeated the Wildcats by 14 points. LOL.

As usual, Andyain’twinning and Dear Pisley end up succing hind titty.

BTW, WTF is Dear Pisley? No doubt hiding deep in his gopher hole chugging, cheap fortified wine.

#Loser/SUCCer BB, choka, choka, choka, choka, choka, choka, choke!!!

#Thanks Enfield. The man can’t handle even limp competition.

#Let the bozo BB loser, whiny excuses begin…LOL

      1. Then is then and now is now. Besides, SUCC’s last regular season game is at Pauley.

The bozos choka, choka, choka, choked themselves right out of 1st place; some things don’t change.

      2. As someone (you) recently pointed out after their team lost (to us), “We’re still in first place….”

      4. Such a dufus. I dare to remind you that sow is the basketball school not us. And I’ll also remind you that it is we that hold the current win streak over sow.
Can’t remember anyone and certainly not myself saying this team would go undefeated the rest of the way. But as I gaze at the standings I see that it is the Trojans who are still listed as the top team.

      1. I’m sorry but I cannot agree with the beloved Alpha “ The GUARINO. I am truly disappointed & disgusted with this teams performance. I’m hoping that Owns is going to be proven false, however he may be correct ( that sound you may have heard was me vomiting at the thought) 1) Team was “ Flar” 2)Goodwin more playing time 3) poor Substitute pattern 4) White/ Peterson too much playing time. 5) today should have been the first extended playing time for Reese W. 6) by far the most important issue is the constant disappearing act of the most overrated player in USC basketball- Isiah Mobley (5 star – Thanks Enfield) my magic carpet ride needs helium quickly. I’m concerned that a first place team that had a chance to cement at least a 4 seed would play without “purpose will always cement USC as a H—- Moronic Mirage. Oregon on Monday is Paramount for the rest of the season.

  6. Why do I feel Scott is happy that we lost! He jumps on it right away! He doesn’t want to admit Enfield has done a solid job this year. Honestly, a loss right about now is probably a good thing. But come on admit the team is doing very well. I would respect you a lot more if you admitted that Enfield put together a very good squad of players from the portal. That he is doing a great job! That is a big part of the game now. Admit when you are wrong!

      1. You fucking faggot! How can a USC fan talk about other schools paying players! (Reggie Bush) and (OJ Mayo) just a couple of quick examples! Do your research before making your dumb ass comments you panty wearing wimp.

      2. The Sam Gilbert years…the good old days for UCLA when they were pioneers of under the table payments. Also, John Wooden got most of his best ideas from his Ass’t Jerry Norman, including out-of-state recruiting and the zone press. He never did give proper credit to Norman.

    1. JO, by your logic, USC = bozos. But UCLA justed tied USC for 1st place, so by transitivity UCLA = bozos. So you just insulted yourself. Holy Cow, how truly stupid UCLA fans are! They cannot even write a proper insult post.

  7. Big game Monday vs. Oregon. Better straighten out their mental approach with games at Colorado and Utah on the road next.
They could lose both , then Stanford at home & ucla away.
Free Throws are a joke with tutor Enfield a real dud in his
supposedly area of excellence. Next year’s team will be pure
garbage losing E. Mobley, Taj Eaddy, Goodwin, and White unless
they let seniors redo this season.

    1. And Andyain’twinning never does well under heavy competitive pressure.

And if SUCC BB collapses, why would those team members you mention “S” want to come back. The siren of NBA/Pro dollars would be irresistible.

  8. well that’s what happens with hot cold /hot cold teams…and on defense they were clueless or wearing cement shoes…I figured at start of season they would compete ,and choke as usual, end up about 3rd-4th but still have a winning season …they lost to a good team, but not a top 25 team, neither apparently is sc ; too bad and sad.

  9. Tough road ahead for USC basketball. Oregon, no question has the best talent in the Pac 12 , and they are just now hitting their stride. Huge physical front line, and very tall guards who can all shoot and defend well. Enfield, needs to adjust his starting line up for this game to have a chance on the boards- E. Mobley, I. Mobley, Goodwin, White, and Eddy. Peterson’s performance the last part of this season has been very disappointing. Sorry, it appears to me Ethan Anderson is not quick enough to play defense or offense again good guards in this league, and at best should continue to come off the bench with limited minutes. It is quite obvious the weakness of this team is at the point guard position. Oregon on Monday, Colorado and Utah on the road, then Stanford at home, and at UCLA is a crazy schedule – Big trouble coming if SC loses at home against Oregon………with a significant dip in the conference standings possibly ahead. . It is not fair if UCLA does not have to re-schedule their two games with Oregon so the Bruins might win the conference with a very favorable schedule. Trust me the Nike Owned University in Eugene operated by Phil Knight has the best talent now year in and year out in the Pac 12, and every year they acquire huge transfer talent with alot more than just a free pair of shoes. How they avoid NCAA probation is beyond belief.
