Let’s Renew USC-Oklahoma Series

I’m ready to propose that USC and Oklahoma play a home-and-home series in the interest of college football. It would certainly draw a huge TV rating. There’s been some great USC-Oklahoma games in the past so why not renew the tradition? Did it get better than when No. 1 USC played No. 2 Oklahoma in 1981? Imagine the interest if Lincoln Riley returned to Norman, … Continue reading Let’s Renew USC-Oklahoma Series

USC Morning Buzz: Reputations Unscathed?

With USC in the process of hiring Oklahoma cornerbacks coach Roy Manning, where will former interim coach Donte Williams end up? There could opportunities within the Pac-12 for Williams such as a return to Oregon. Social media had Williams going to Washington but the Huskies just hired Julius Brown of Fresno State as its cornerbacks coach. I disagree with Jon Wilner of the San Jose … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: Reputations Unscathed?

London, a pre-season All-American, finished tops in the conference in both receptions (88) and receiving yards (1,084). He joined Texas Tech’s Michael Crabtree (2007) as the only Power 5 players to have 88 … Continue reading Drake London Named Pac-12 Offensive Player Of Year

Morning Buzz: USC Needs To Clear Up Coaches’ Status

Why is there a trickle effect on the status of the USC coaching staff? There should be an announcement by USC that Lincoln Riley is getting rid of everyone. That’s what Hall of Fame spokesperson Tim Tessalone should be doing. Instead, defensive line coach Vic So’oto announced on his own that he is out. Clay McGuire went to Washington State. We don’t have a clue … Continue reading Morning Buzz: USC Needs To Clear Up Coaches’ Status

Hunter Echols Enters Transfer Portal

This is the third USC player to enter the transfer portal today, joining kicker Alex Stadthaus and defensive lineman Jake Lichtenstein. Hunter Echols had 20 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and broke up a pass. Echols did not accompany USC to the Cal game last weekend. Who’s next to enter the portal? Linebacker Juliano Falaniko has entered the portal as a grad transfer. Offensive tackle … Continue reading Hunter Echols Enters Transfer Portal
