Some tragic news today as USC inside receivers coach Dave Nichol died this morning. He was 45. According to sources, Nichol had been battling cancer since December. I’m told USC coach Lincoln Riley flew Nichol back to Texas so he could be with his family before he passed away. Nichol had coached at Mississippi State, Washington State, East Carolina, Arizona, Baylor and Texas Tech. He … Continue reading USC Assistant Coach Dave Nichol Dies

I spoke to a player Wednesday who said there were some tense moments. “Some of us that are still here were worried we would get the … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: Roster Turnover Keeps Everyone Alert

Isaiah Pola-Mao is working out at USC Pro Day today. This answers the question regarding Pola-Mao’s future because it had not officially been announced he turned pro. In fact, Pro Football Focus did not list the safety among its draft-eligible players. Where will he go? If he gets drafted, it’s expected to be around the 6th-7th round after a disappointing season at USC. Defensive end … Continue reading USC Pro Day Solves A Mystery
