USC Quick Thought
One of the worst things I heard from a former USC assistant coach today was that Carol Folt and Mike Bohn might retain Clay Helton because they don’t want to be accountable by hiring their own football coach. Well guess what, if you keep Helton, you own him. Just like Lynn Swann did. The fans won’t give anyone a pass for keeping Helton. Continue reading USC Quick Thought
USC Morning Buzz: Only One Game Today
Even if Utah beat Colorado today, Clay Helton could return as USC coach. But it will put more pressure on the powers-that-be-at-USC if the Utes take care of business and win the Pac-12 South. A USC coach I spoke to Friday believes Sunday will be D-Day for … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: Only One Game Today
Thanks, Enfield!
Did Andy Enfield have a game plan today for Marquette? Markus Howard had 51 points so no defensive plan for him. Howard had zero resistance. But worse, yes worse, was that USC had a huge height advantage and it doesn’t play through its big men. It’s just the same disorganized run-and-gun offense Enfield always runs. I just … Continue reading It Could Be A Long January At USC
Former USC DB Josh Shaw Suspended For Betting On NFL Games

USC Morning Buzz: This Is Why You Need Change
If you look at the talent USC’s roster, there is one thing missing: A leader of men. If Clay Helton returns, USC will be a favorite for the Pac-12 title. But the sloppiness, the penalties and the poor game management will remain. That means USC might be successful but won’t reach its potential. This is where Mike Bohn needs to realize he is not at … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: This Is Why You Need Change
