Nickell Robey-Coleman Sends Rams To Super Bowl
Rams cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman, who is from USC, made the key play to send the Rams to the Super Bowl. If he doesn’t commit pass interference, which was not called, the Saints might score a touchdown. But I bring this up because I can relay a story about Robey (as he was known at USC), who was a popular player at USC, with his teammates … Continue reading Nickell Robey-Coleman Sends Rams To Super Bowl
Can Lynn Swann’s Reputation Sink Lower?
The reaction has been overwhelming to Lynn Swann’s decision to ban the song girls from basketball games. The irony is so few people bother to go to basketball games in the first place. Nevertheless, this is another own goal by Swann. And he seems to find new ways to destroy his image. Three-star D’Von Ellies of Owings Mills, Md., chose Penn State over USC. This was not a surprise. Continue reading Saturday Night Recruiting News

The original song girls were Celeste Fremon, Charlene Gonzales, Suzanne Knolle, Linda Hauf, Claudia Pawlan, Penny Ward and Susan Wright. Continue reading USC Picture Of The Day
Can Clay Helton Hire Someone?
I hear Clay Helton has offered Cal strength coach Torre Becton the strength job at USC with Ivan Lewis going to Seattle. Becton previously was at USC. But whether Becton takes it depends in part on whether he wants to take what could be a one-year job if Helton gets fired. Continue reading Can Clay Helton Hire Someone?
