Discuss The Game
Has USC learned nothing since last season? The defense, which the Internet media raves about all training camp, looked awful at times. Clancy Pendergast is obviously not going to change. The special teams got caught flat-footed on some plays too. I’ve repeatedly mentioned the offensive line and it looked shaky Satirday. As for JT Daniels, he made some nice throws but he was more than … Continue reading Discuss The Game
It’s USC-UNLV Game Day!
Photo/Jon SooHoo USC’s first game is finally here. What kind of crowd will show up? The over/under is 50,000 (actual crowd not announced). Will JT Daniels look crisp or a little raw today? Angeline, who transferred to North Carolina State, must sit out the first three games this season before he is eligible. As an experiment, I called two sports bars this week to … Continue reading If It’s Friday, It’s Time For A USC Notes Column
Bubba Bolden Update
Sources said USC safety Bubba Bolden was suspended by the university, not the football program. It involves an incident with another USC student and took place over the summer, which means this suspension could potentially drag on, based on past history. Continue reading Bubba Bolden Update
Now Starting Safety Bubba Bolden Is Not Playing Saturday
USC’s secondary took another hit today: Starting safety Bubba Bolden did not practice and there is no timetable for his return, according to Coach Clay Helton. Isaiah Pola-Mao, a redshirt freshman, will start in place of Bolden. So to recap, Bolden and Ykili Ross were battling to start at strong safety at the start of training camp. Ross is off the team and Bolden is … Continue reading Now Starting Safety Bubba Bolden Is Not Playing Saturday
