USC Ad Of The Day
The Trojan Bowl was a bowling alley on Vermont Ave. between 28th and 29th Streets in the 1960’s. The building became a restaurant/club and was where former USC track athlete Bryshon Nellum was shot in the legs as he was getting into a car in 2008. Continue reading USC Ad Of The Day
Clay Helton Predicts Success For Deontay Burnett
USC coach Clay Helton said this morning he was bullish on wide receiver Deontay Burnett’s NFL future despite not getting drafted. “I think the Tennessee Titans really stole a young man,” Helton said. “He’s going to bring great football instinctiveness to the table, as well as great production.” Helton said he could have a similar career to former USC cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman, who went undrafted … Continue reading Clay Helton Predicts Success For Deontay Burnett

Yes, left tackle is more … Continue reading Sunday Buzz: Don’t Fall Prey To Excuses Regarding USC’s Talent

Burnett weighed this against a feeling Helton would be eager to showcase other receivers like Amon-Ra St. Brown, Michael Pittman and Tyler Vaughns. This is a common feeling among … Continue reading Deontay Burnett Is Not Drafted
USC Morning Buzz: Four Players Picked In 3 Rounds Means Something . . .
Sam Darnold, Ronald Jones, Uchenna Nwosu and Rasheem Green were drafted in the first three rounds of the NFL Draft. They were four of the first 79 players selected. So this buries the whole crowd of people during the season who said how great an accomplishment it was to win the Pac-12 South. And then the Pac-12 title. USC had the most-talented team. Even this … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: Four Players Picked In 3 Rounds Means Something . . .
