Look Who’s Back At USC

Rick Caruso was at the USC-UCLA basketball game sitting courtside and signing autographs. And now he’s being honored by Carol Folt. How long before he returns to the Board of Trustees? Maybe he can make another donation to USC after spending $100 million on his mayoral campaign. The room was filled with the Trojan Spirit as trustees, alums, friends & family celebrated @RickCarusoLA’s transformative tenure … Continue reading Look Who’s Back At USC

USC Notes: Low Expectations For Baseball And Folt Starts Promoting!

Remember last week I wrote about Carol Folt wanting the USC-Arizona game played on Saturday because of “Trojan Family Weekend?” Well, it didn’t take long for Folt to promote the weekend now that she has a Saturday football game as the centerpiece as this graphic was sent out this week. What time will the prawn sandwiches be served in Alumni Park? It’s not exactly surprising … Continue reading USC Notes: Low Expectations For Baseball And Folt Starts Promoting!

USC Morning Buzz: There Was Interest In Defensive Coordinator Job

I’ve heard that a defensive coordinator at an SEC school put out informal feelers to a couple USC assistant coaches after the Cotton Bowl to gauge Lincoln Riley’s intentions for next season. Anderson was Wyoming’s third-leading scorer this season averaging 7.9 points. He … Continue reading USC/UCLA Players Fizzle Out In Wyoming

USC Morning Buzz: The Constantly Moving Goals Of Pac-12

I’m continually unimpressed by the soft coverage of the Pac-12 and commissioner George Kliavkoff, who seems to still benefit from not being Larry Scott. The goal posts constantly move and few complain. Now we hear the Pac-12 probably won’t do a new media rights deal until it adds new members like San Diego State and SMU. Why is this suddenly being reported? Wasn’t it just … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: The Constantly Moving Goals Of Pac-12
