Morning Buzz: USC-Arizona State Report Card
QUARTERBACK Is there anything Caleb Williams can’t do? He makes touchdown throws going against his body, eludes sacks and constantly pulls something out of nothing. I don’t even care he threw an interception. I’d love to see him play Alabama, Georgia or Ohio State. Grade: A- RUNNING BACKS They weren’t exactly breathtaking but they always get bonus points because Travis Dye is ready to check … Continue reading Morning Buzz: USC-Arizona State Report Card
Former USC Great Marvin Powell Passes Away
Marvin Powell, one of the greatest linemen in USC history, has passed away, according to the New York Jets. He was 67. Powell was an All-American in 1975 and 1976 and is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame. For some reason, he is not in the USC Hall of Fame. Powell was a five-time Pro Bowl selection, three-time All-Pro and Jets Team … Continue reading Former USC Great Marvin Powell Passes Away

People with good memories might remember Sanford Jr. as … Continue reading Colorado Fires Karl Dorrell And There’s A USC Connection

Look at it this way: UCLA recently put … Continue reading USC Towel Wavers Out Of Hand
My Take On USC’s Less-Than-Impressive Victory
Caleb Williams put on a fantastic QB performance Saturday night. And it was offset by an utterly atrocious effort by the USC offensive line. Williams bounced back from the Oregon State game with an incredible assortment of passes/runs under pressure. And his offensive line needs to thank him profusely because they were an embarrassment. A normal QB would have been sacked eight times in the … Continue reading My Take On USC’s Less-Than-Impressive Victory
Discuss The USC-Arizona State Game
Well, the defense is soft as usual. And a busted coverage allows ASU to score a TD and tie the score, 7-7. The first drive is pretty workmanlike for USC other than a fumbled snap. Caleb Williams scores on a 1-yard run. USC 7, Arizona State 0. The Trojans are 25.5 favorites. Did you pick a winner? This isn’t the same Arizona State team before … Continue reading Discuss The USC-Arizona State Game
