Morning Buzz: USC Contacts Eric Bieniemy
USC has contacted Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy as part of its coaching search to replace Clay Helton, according to sources Bieniemy is one of several coaches contacted during the search process, the source said. “Under this scenario (Bieniemy) would hire a lot of assistant coaches with Southern California backgrounds (for recruiting),” a source said. USC Quote Of The Night
Todd Orlando asked today about USC’s zone defense: “It’s not been great, you know what I’m saying, some of the man-to-man hasn’t been great either.” Here is a good stat: Arizona completed three passes all season of more than 20 yards before the USC game. Here … Continue reading Morning Buzz: How Much Has USC Regressed?

Yahoo and other media outlets are reporting Helton is finalizing a deal to become the new coach at Georgia Southern. Will this reduce what USC has to pay him? Helton will reportedly make $800,000 per year … Continue reading Clay Helton To Georgia Southern?
Morning Buzz: USC-Arizona Report Card
QUARTERBACK The stats looked good but the QB rotation was a mess. Kedon Slovis said he didn’t know he wasn’t playing in the fourth quarter. Jaxson Dart was cold on the sideline before he got thrown in for the fourth quarter. USC was terrified to pass in the second half especially after the pick six. Grade: C TAILBACK Why is it if Clay Helton were … Continue reading Morning Buzz: USC-Arizona Report Card
