Niuafe Tuihalamaka, a highly regarded linebacker from Alemany in Mission Hills, has announced he committed to USC. Tuihalamaka is a Class of 2022 prospect. That means, theoretically, all of the current USC could be fired by the time Tuihalamaka actually signs a letter of intent. Or maybe every assistant coach and Clay Helton can survive firing 22 assistant coaches. But the commitment does give Helton/Mike … Continue reading USC Lands A Commitment . . . For 2022

A former USC coach, currently in the NFL, told me Monday night, “it sounds like Graham Harrell might be the coach after the Alabama game,” after hearing all the coaching transactions being made. That might be extreme but he is the second NFL coach in two days to say this weekend’s purge sounds like a perfect way to elevate Harrell. I’m sure USC hopes some fans have calmed down in the past 8 weeks … Continue reading USC Finally Fixes Booster Website

Who is going to be USC’s recruiting coordinator now that Johnny Nansen has been fired? It can be an important position. Remember, Pete Carroll’s recruiting coordinators were Ed Orgeron, Lane Kiffin and Brennan Carroll. That’s probably a pretty good illustration of how you better have the right person in the job because Carroll’s teams gradually declined at the end. I can’t say there is a … Continue reading Who Wants To Be USC Recruiting Coordinator?
