Beware section 303 in the new Coliseum, apparently. Actually, there will be obstructed view seats on both sides of the new tower and fans will see what looks like less than half the field. If USC plays like last season, these might be the preferred seats. I’ve talked to USC officials about this for the past year. USC tells me these seats will only be … Continue reading Great View In New Coliseum
Graham Harrell made a comment this week at the San Diego Trojan Club that caught my eye. “There’s a bias in the media toward elite programs,” he said. “Whether it’s fair or not, if the media gets a chance to put USC in (the College Football Playoff) they’ll put USC in there over a team that doesn’t have the same history and talent as USC.” … Continue reading If It’s Friday, It’s Time For A USC Notes Column

The Los Angeles Times has a story on how Max Nikias is still around USC. Here’s the item that stuck out to me: “Nikias and his wife purchased a Manhattan Beach home in the fall from sports broadcaster Colin Cowherd for $4.1 million.” So from one wealthy USC superfan to another. Now you know why I call it the USC South Bay mafia. Andy Enfield … Continue reading What Do Max Nikias And Colin Cowherd Have In Common?
