Oklahoma QB Caleb Williams was cagey last night when asked about his future following the Sooners’ victory over Oregon in the Alamo Bowl. “The whole transfer portal thing and Coach (Brent Venables) going up there and saying (I’m the future of Oklahoma), I was focused on finishing the semester off strong, being with my guys, making sure that all my guys that won’t be here … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: Caleb Williams Coy About Future
Today’s look back at Trojans who died in 2021 remembers Paul Westphal. Westphal was on the 1971 USC men’s basketball team that had a 24-2 record. He was a first-team All-American the following season. Mike Henry was attending Bell High School when he was noticed by another Trojan great (John Ferraro), who arranged for him to get a tryout at USC. He was co-captain of the 1957 USC … Continue reading Remembering Mike Henry
New Oregon coach Dan Lanning is making it clear what his priority is when it comes to the Ducks’ coaching staff: Recruiting. Offensive line coach Adrian Klemm, who was previously at UCLA, got a two–year show-cause order in 2016 for arranging training services and housing for two recruits worth $2,400 that he paid for outside of NCAA rules. Defensive coordinator Tosh Lupoi had “issues” at … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: Oregon’s Intentions Clear
