I’ve heard from USC fans today who generally have the same reaction to the $496 tailgate pass this season: “I’m not buying season tickets and I’m not getting a tailgate pass.” That’s the attitude right now. There is so much USC fatigue that fans are just sitting out going to the games or planning to buy tickets online for 1-2 games, which saves a lot … Continue reading USC Notes: Fans Are Tired

Does USC want fans to attend games? It’s latest scheme is to sell a “tailgate pass” that allows you to tailgate in certain areas around the Coliseum for $496! USC tries to blame it on the state but never explains why it cost $496! for a pass in certain lots around the Coliseum. Given USC’s history handling these type of cases, it’s difficult to see Bru McCoy playing for USC this season. Matt Boermeester never got reinstated and he wasn’t even arrested and had a court overturn his suspension. McCoy was released on $50,000 bail. He has a court date set for Nov. 24. The story was first reported on USCfootball.com. Given the way USC has handled past cases, I’m not saying McCoy is “temporarily removed” is accurate, … Continue reading Bru McCoy Arrested; Suspended

KEYAN BURNETT; DAYNE SHOR The tight end committed to Arizona. The offensive lineman committed to Alabama. Neither position does well at USC. TODD McNAIR He settled his case for $8 million, if you believe Reggie Bush. JASON HART No longer has to cover for Andy Enfield’s bad decisions. EVAN MOBLEY The No. 3 pick in the draft meant USC had three straight first-round picks in … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: Winners And Losers Of The Week

Tight end Keyan Burnett of Servite, who was previously committed to USC, committed to Arizona on Sunday. Not a surprise at all but these quotes pretty much confirm why he is not going to USC. “They see me as a traditional tight end,” Burnett told 247Sports. “They want to feature the tight end in their offense and like how well I fit in.” USC does … Continue reading Keyan Burnett Commits To Arizona
