Important Announcement About USC Blog

When I started this blog 29 months ago, it was going to be more of a hobby after covering USC for more than 20 years.

I never imagined it would grow to its current size and attract such a loyal audience.

Well, now it’s time to grow even more. Today, I’m taking the InsideUSC blog to Sports Illustrated. The new address is https://www.si.com/college/usc/

The new USC blog will be the same in many ways but will have much more video, more recruiting and a stronger “community” area for comments. I hope you will join me at the new site for even more USC coverage.

    1. I think that phrase —“mostly peaceful” —might bother you less if you know the way in which the mass media defines it: nuclear weapons were not in evidence.

      2. That isn’t the way prosecutors used to look at it, gt: bad shots in riot situations were charged with “attempt” —- as in “attempted murder” (shooting a 357 magnum into a group of police officers can only be seen as a premeditated attempt to kill one or more of them)….

    CAPITOL HILL BAPTIST CHURCH SUES DC MAYOR, GOVERNMENT: It’s tough to survive as a congregation when government officials bar any worship gatherings of 100 or more people, regardless if they are indoors or outdoors.

    That’s why the 850-member Capitol Hill Baptist Church (CHBC) is suing Mayor Muriel Bowser and the District of Columbia government. Church leaders told the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia that for CHBC there is no theologically acceptable alternative to meeting together in person for fellowship and worship. Thus, the church has no virtual meeting capacity.

    This suit could prove to be much more significant than at first glance it might appear because the D.C. government is the creation of Congress, which is itself explicitly barred by the First Amendment from prescribing what is acceptable worship practice and what is not.

    There is also an element of basic hypocrisy, as the church pointed out in its filing:

    “Defendants have been discriminatory in their application of the ban on large scale gatherings. For example, on June 6, 2020, Mayor Bowser appeared personally at an outdoor gathering of tens of thousands of people at the corner of 16th and H Streets, NW and delivered a speech describing the large gathering as ‘wonderful to see.’”

    The church is represented by the First Liberty Institute of Plano, Texas, which has successfully defended multiple individuals and congregations that have tangled with authorities as a result of Covid-19 enforcement policies.

    “Black Lives Matter” is built on fraud after fraud. BLM is nothing but a revolutionary Marxist terror group using the language of civil rights to hide their totalitarian aims.

    Lets review:

    Michael Brown — shot while beating up a cop while trying to take the cop’s gun, after Brown had just finished a nearby robbery.

    Treyvon Martin — shot while pummeling, MMA style (“ground and pound”) George Zimmerman.

    Blake — shot while going for a knife in his car, after he violated a restraining order and was about to be arrested for a warrant for sexual assault.

    George Floyd — died from a massive overdose of fentanyl, while resisting arrest for his umpteenth felony. (BTW….Have you read the facts of his home invasion robbery where “Saint George” put a gun to the pregnant homeowner’s stomach? Yeahhhh…Floyd is a “hero.”)

    Breanna Taylor …shot accidentally by cops as they were being shot at because Taylor was known to shack up with a violent felon the cops were looking for.

    So .. please .. tell me where the “victims of racial injustice” are in any of these incidents?
    Show me where there is ANY evidence these men were killed or shot because of their race, instead of the crook behavior they were engaging in at the time. You can’t. Cuz there is no evidence.

    “Victims of racial injustice” my ass. “Systemic racism” my ass. Each of these people got EXACTLY what they deserved. And yet ….each one is rammed down our throats by the Media as a martyr who proves ..PROVES!!!! ….America and cops are fundamentally racist. This tactic is pure evil.

    The only “systemic racism” that exists is within the Marxist left, and the institutions they have infected (see “critical race theory”). THEY are the sick racists, dividing us by skin color at every opportunity, stoking the flames of racial resentment…all in order to bring America down, and take power. Again…pure evil.

    Lets get one thing straight …The riots are about one thing — starting a race war, creating as much racial tension as possible, to help drag Biden-the-Corpse over the finish line, while covering up and lying about what actually happened in the incidents above.

    Stay in the fight Patriots. This war has just begun.
