Important Announcement About USC Blog

When I started this blog 29 months ago, it was going to be more of a hobby after covering USC for more than 20 years.

I never imagined it would grow to its current size and attract such a loyal audience.

Well, now it’s time to grow even more. Today, I’m taking the InsideUSC blog to Sports Illustrated. The new address is https://www.si.com/college/usc/

The new USC blog will be the same in many ways but will have much more video, more recruiting and a stronger “community” area for comments. I hope you will join me at the new site for even more USC coverage.

    1. Yes! Let’s celebrate by showing videos from LAST week of Biden saying he NEVER heard about his son’s involvement with the corrupt, money laundering energy company, Burisma…. #”HeWhat?!Oh,WhenDidThisHappen?”

  1. Missed a day or two, you guys probably covered this already, but I have to say, the Harris grandstanding in what was supposed to be her questioning Barret was just about the most pathetic and politically motivated 30 minutes I have ever seen. And for my money, Harris appears to be a crappy litigator.

    1. Glad you said it. Apparently no one on television is allowed to say she’s a lightweight. And the worst kind of lightweight: One who thinks she’s a heavyweight.

    1. I’d love to see POTUS say “The choice is between me – who oversaw the greatest economy is 3 generations, including the best economic performance ever for African Americans and Latinos, and which will recover quickly – or a person who can’t remember where he is, who he is talking to, or where the neatest bathroom is, and whose running mate generated about as much enthusiasm during the campaign as a termite.”

    1. Only questions left: Are voters gonna let Biden get away with using public office to keep his son in drugs and prostitutes? Are they gonna let Corrupt Obama get away with misusing American Intelligence to spy on a political opponent? Are they gonna let Hillary off for invading Libya for personal financial reasons and then erasing all emails relating to her treachery?

    1. I read somewhere recently that Judge Barrett’s adoption of two Haitian children (of color) was akin to “white colonizing” or that they were kidnappers. Did you guys discuss this last week while I was in Yosemite? Sorry, I’m about 2,000 posts behind you.

      Quote, from the WSJ:
Regarding Jason L. Riley’s “The Left’s Unhealthy Interest in Amy Coney Barrett’s Adopted Kids” (Upward Mobility, Sept. 30): Let me see if I have this straight. Ibram X. Kendi and Ruth Ben-Ghiat between them assert that Judge Amy Coney Barrett and her husband adopted black children as “white colonizers” and “kidnappers”? So I assume these disparaging accusations apply to the Hollywood likes of Sandra Bullock, Madonna, Charlize Theron, Tom Cruise and Angelina Jolie? I can’t recall reading similar racially hyped comments from the progressive left toward celebrities that have graciously adopted children of any color, nor should there be. And I’m guessing, Ibram X. Kendi and Ruth Ben-Ghiat’s criticism toward interracial adoptions would also apply to interracial marriages that yield children? Is it OK that Barack Obama’s white grandparents were an integral part of his childhood? He became president after all. (end quote)

      1. The Far Left feels it’s in the ignominious position of needing to just “throw it all out there and hope something sticks.” Trump calls dead soldiers suckers, Trump had sex with Putin, Trump pees on prostitutes, adopting any child other than a white child is racist, adopting only white children is racist, etc., etc. This is more childish than the name calling in my student body president race in Catholic High School….

People who hate Trump should look in the rear view mirror and examine what Obama and Biden delivered. Trump wasn’t elected in a vacuum.

By my recollection, I think catholics (I attend services most Sundays) voted overwhelmingly for demo presidential candidates the last 3 or 4 elections. What’s DiFi’s issue? Does DiFi only want Catholics to support her when it is convenient for her?

BTW, what’s going on with her husbands influence peddling at UC Berkeley?
