The Trojans apparently scored the go-ahead run in the ninth to take a 13-12 lead, but the Auburn dugout and fans started protesting that the USC runner didn’t touch home plate. The USC baseball alumni game was Saturday at Dedeaux Field. Among those in attendance were Don Buford, Jeff Cirillo, Bret Boone, Morgan Ensberg and Seth Etherton, who is also USC’s pitching coach.
