Remember that hype video last year that USC pulled after about one day because of the backlash to its tone-deaf nature? Well, the athletic dept. found a way to salvage it today with a new hype video that inserted a scene of Donte Williams and others walking down a red carpet. And no one will notice. Well, almost no one. Here is the repacked video. … Continue reading USC Salvages Banned Video
I don’t have a problem with Reggie Bush getting his Heisman Trophy back. But can he show at least a little contrition for his refusal to cooperate with the NCAA and the poor football players who had to play with bowl bans and scholarship reductions. Never. When will he show remorse to the USC community? Instead, Bush is being packaged as a martyr now. He … Continue reading Reggie Bush Wants His Heisman Back With No Strings Attached

The superficial reigns supreme. Things like player development and coaching are secondary; old fashioned and out of touch. Continue reading Mike Bohn’s Vision For USC
Here’s a recruiting story that won’t make the rounds. Is this real below? These logos are terrible. And didn’t Noah Baumann transfer? I guess it’s just important to create hype instead. Ahead of college athletes being able to cash in, some college athletic departments are helping design logos for their athletes.
