Another Pac-12 Offer For USC Recruit
Cornerback Trey Davis, who committed to USC this week, picked up a scholarship offer from Washington State. So Davis has offers from USC, Washington State, Portland State and Sacramento State. Why hasn’t Washington offered Davis? He is from Federal Way, which is 24 miles from Seattle. Chris Petersen is not a dummy. But maybe the Huskies will offer Davis eventually. USC Morning Buzz: Saturday Notes
A few Saturday notes to start the weekend: Former USC basketball assistant Dave Miller predicted on twitter that forward Isaiah Mobley would commit to the Trojans on Friday. Mobley did not. The case could go to … Continue reading If It’s Friday, It’s Time For The Notes Column
USC Following Its Own Path In Recruiting
Cornerback Trey Davis of Federal Way, Wash., is expected to commit to USC tomorrow. Here is the interesting part: His other offers are from Portland State and Sacramento State. Maybe USC saw Davis before other Division I schools and is getting a hidden gem. There is no rule that a player needs four stars to be recruited. But to repeat what I said this morning, … Continue reading USC Following Its Own Path In Recruiting
USC Picture Of The Day
Legendary USC assistant coach Marv Goux leads defensive linemen through a drill during 1966 spring practice. This is when USC practiced on the old Bovard Field, as you can see the Bovard Administration Building in the background. Continue reading USC Picture Of The Day
