A Bad Take On Sam Darnold/Josh Rosen
I usually disagree with Colin Cowherd. Now I have to read a wrong opinion from fellow Fox radio host Clay Travis: “I’m nervous about Sam Darnold. I watched him play at USC and I didn’t feel like at every time at snap he knew exactly what he was going to do. At snap, Josh Rosen knows exactly what he’s going to do and had total … Continue reading A Bad Take On Sam Darnold/Josh Rosen
USC Morning Buzz: Sam Darnold Slipping?
It’s NFL Draft day and there is an indication the Cleveland Browns are going to pass on Sam Darnold with the No. 1 pick and take Josh Allen or Baker Mayfield. Read the credible reporting on that here. If I’m Darnold, I would pray the report is true. He would certainly go to the New York Giants or New York Jets in the next two … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: Sam Darnold Slipping?
An NFL Draft To Remember
USC had five first-round picks in the 1968 NFL Draft: Offensive tackle Ron Yary was the No. 1 pick; offensive tackle Mike Taylor was No. 10; defensive end Tim Rossovich (No. 88 in above photo) was No. 14; running back Mike Hull was No. 16 and wide receiver Earl McCullough was No. 24. The following year, O.J. Simpson was the No. 1 pick and tight … Continue reading An NFL Draft To Remember

USC’s current starting tackles are Chuma Edoga (RT) and Austin Jackson/Clayton Johnston (LT). USC is still in the mix for Wake Forest wide receiver Tabari Hines, who is also looking at Oregon and Texas. Continue reading Jack Driscoll Transfers To Auburn
USC Morning Buzz: Wednesday Notes
UMass offensive lineman Jack Driscoll is supposed to announce where he will transfer today: USC, UCLA and Auburn are his choices. UCLA just got Texas Tech offensive tackle Justin Murphy on Tuesday so we will see if that makes a difference. USC assistant coaches Ronnie Bradford and Keary Colbert were at St. John Bosco on Tuesday. Looks like USC is ready to treat Bosco like … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: Wednesday Notes
2022 Is Shaping Up As Year To Forget
For the past few years, I’ve written about how USC’s non-conference schedules are somewhat underwhelming. For example, in 2022, USC plays Rice, Fresno State and Notre Dame. In 2020, USC currently plays New Mexico, Notre Dame and has an open date. That is why there is talk about playing Alabama in the season opener at a neutral site. And 2021 has BYU, Notre Dame and … Continue reading 2022 Is Shaping Up As Year To Forget
