USC Lineman Steve Lehmer Passes Away
Steve Lehmer, a three-year starter on the offensive line at USC from 1967-69 and member of the 1967 national championship team, died on July 14. He was 74. Lehmer was the only sophomore to start on the 1967 team and was also a member of the 1967 and 1968 NCAA championship track teams as a discus thrower. Carol Folt’s Definition Of Minimal Travel Disruption
When USC announced it would move to the Big Ten, Carol Folt said, “we are committed to devoting the necessary resources to ensure our student-athletes can continue to thrive in their classwork with minimal travel disruption.” But according to the Athletic, “One conference source anticipated that USC and UCLA student-athletes will travel 159 percent more air miles and 44 percent more bus miles in the … Continue reading Carol Folt’s Definition Of Minimal Travel Disruption
USC Injury List Update

For example, defensive tackle Earl Barquet, a transfer from TCU. Now maybe the injury is the reason and he’ll be fine by the season-opener but defensive line is a position of need so it’s not hard to make an impression. Cornerback … Continue reading USC Injury List Update

Three-star recruits … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: Winners And Losers Of The Week
Not Sold On Supposed USC Starting Lineup
Let’s revisit the potential depth chart because I’m not sold on some of these supposed starting lineups. And — big surprise — I’m talking offensive line. I think USC’s best left tackle is Bobby Haskins. And even though Jonah Monheim has been the No. 1 right tackle since the spring, remember he got benched halfway through last season. That leads me to believe USC could … Continue reading Not Sold On Supposed USC Starting Lineup
What If USC Fans Were As Vocal As Tennessee Fans?
When USC released a statement on Bru McCoy, it made me think what would have happened if Trojans fans were as vocal as Tennessee fans? What if USC fans had supported Matt Boermeester like this? Or Kenan Christon? Or De’Anthony Melton? I’m not saying it would have changed anything. But at least USC would have felt a little pressure to be more accountable instead of … Continue reading What If USC Fans Were As Vocal As Tennessee Fans?
