Josh Christopher Commits To Arizona State
Five-star guard Josh Christopher of Mayfair High School in Lakewood announced he committed to Arizona State tonight. Quite a few USC fans thought Christopher and Ziaire Williams would be a package deal for Andy Enfield. Those fans will be harder to find now that the duo went elsewhere. I can’t really say I care what Christopher did either way, but it was irritating that he … Continue reading Josh Christopher Commits To Arizona State
Here’s What USC Should Do At Coliseum
No fans? No problem. USC needs to contact the Rakuten Monkeys, a Taiwanese team that’s part of the Chinese Professional Baseball League. The Monkeys first home game will feature mannequins and cardboard cutouts of fans in the stands. Actual humans are not allowed at the game because of the coronavirus. 2002 Rewind: USC-Oregon
If you want to circle a moment when USC “arrived” during the Pete Carroll era, it would be hard to say to find a bigger victory than the Trojans’ 44-33 victory over Oregon at Autzen Stadium. USC started the season 3-2, then held on for a 30-28 victory over Cal and defeated Washington at the Coliseum, 41-21. But going to Autzen Stadium and winning for … Continue reading 2002 Rewind: USC-Oregon
USC Great Gus Williams Hospitalized Following Stroke
One of the best players in USC history, Gus Williams, has been hospitalized since February after suffering a stroke, according to Peter Vecsey of the New York Post. Williams, 66, lives in South Carolina. USC retired his jersey number in 2016. You can make a case that Williams (1972-75) was the most successful player in USC history. An All-American in 1975 (which by itself puts … Continue reading USC Great Gus Williams Hospitalized Following Stroke
