USC Morning Buzz: A Solitary Figure Heading Into Spring
I’m hearing that during USC’s workouts leading up to spring practice, Clay Helton’s cut a pretty solitary figure. He walks around but doesn’t really have his close buddies (John Baxter, Johnny Nansen, even Clancy Pendergast) to talk to so he mostly watches a mostly new coaching staff. Now this is for closed-to-the-public workouts. I suspect next week, when spring practices are open to the public, … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: A Solitary Figure Heading Into Spring

New USC special teams coach Sean Snyder hit a sore spot yesterday during his press conference: “I don’t allow 10 guys or the field, or nine for that matter,” Snyder said. “We’ll do a lot on the sidelines. We’ll have some help with collecting personnel and making sure we have everybody ready to go. So we do have a process with that. But that’s just … Continue reading USC Special Teams Coach Sets A Marker
USC Morning Buzz: Graduate Transfer Updates
Former USC QB Jack Sears is visiting Virginia after visiting Northwestern earlier in the week. Virginia has six quarterbacks on its roster. Whether any of them are good is another matter. Maybe new USC defensive line coach Vic So’oto knows since he was at Virginia. The Cavs signed a trio of three-star defensive linemen under So’oto this recruiting class but I’m sure it will be … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: Graduate Transfer Updates
