The reaction has been overwhelming to Lynn Swann’s decision to ban the song girls from basketball games. The irony is so few people bother to go to basketball games in the first place. Nevertheless, this is another own goal by Swann. And he seems to find new ways to destroy his image. Will anyone remember this was a Super Bowl icon or just a bumbling … Continue reading Can Lynn Swann’s Reputation Sink Lower?
I hear LSU coach Ed Orgeron is in Southern California this weekend. Why not? He already has a commitment from Mater Dei cornerback Elias Ricks, the No. 1-ranked corner in the nation for the Class of 2020. He knows USC is in a position of weakness right now and it’s a great time for schools like LSU, Alabama and Oklahoma to recruit locally. The Sooners … Continue reading USC Sunday Buzz

Kliff Kingsbury might be coronated a genius in the NFL and worshipped for a month by USC fans, but he is not earning that reputation with his early moves in Arizona. First, Kingsbury interviewed Steve Sarkisian for the offensive coordinator’s job. Now he has interviewed Hue Jackson. The irony of course is all three were offensive coordinators at USC. Maybe it doesn’t matter who Kingsbury … Continue reading Kliff Kingsbury’s Reputation Is Sinking
