Can you believe this? USC is playing a really bad team and up 21-14 at the half and 28-21 as I write this. What is Clancy Pendergast doing? He never covers the middle of the field. It’s such a joke. UPDATED: USC wins, 38-21. Another ugly win. The defense looked below average and isn’t it funny Clay Helton made some changes (taking snaps under center, … Continue reading Discuss The USC-Oregon State Game

This should be an easy pick. USC is better than Oregon State. USC no longer has Neil Callaway. But . . . let’s not kid ourselves that the Trojans will not play mistake-free football. They never do. His reward is being the No. 2 QB behind JT Daniels. That has to hurt. There is no way Sears can stay … Continue reading Jack Sears’ Long Weekend

Usually, when a coach is on the hot seat, you hear the argument, “we can’t destroy the recruiting class,” as a reason to keep the coach. But USC’s current class, which recently lost its only five-star prospect (Chris Steele), is so unremarkable that little would be risked by making a coaching change. The Trojans’ class is ranked No. 29 by Rivals despite having 15 commitments. … Continue reading If It’s Friday, It’s Time For A USC Notes Column
