De’Anthony Gatson, a tailback from Newton, Texas (where else?) committed to USC today. He is a four-star per Rivals and three-star per 247. Meanwhile, Gavin Sawchuk of Littleton Colo., who is considered one of the top three tailbacks in the nation, committed to Oklahoma. You might remember he visited USC two weeks ago. “I really like how they run their offense,” Sawchuk said. Just not … Continue reading USC Adds Tailback, Loses Out On Another
I did a Twitter Spaces conversation last week where I said freshman Jaxson Dart is really QB1-A, not QB2. Why do I say that? Because that’s what I hear from some people on the coaching staff. They seem eager to get a look at Dart in an actual game, which leads me to believe he will get playing time even if Kedon Slovis stays healthy, … Continue reading Morning Buzz: USC Has A QB1-A
An insider tells me Clay Helton was not amused I wrote his head was buried at the Lott Trophy Luncheon last week when a former staffer he fired was introduced at the luncheon. “He got a longer intro than Helton,” a USC booster who went to the luncheon joked. Michael Norman The former USC sprinter won the 400 … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: Winners And Losers Of The Week
Jaeden Gould, a four-star cornerback from Oradell, N.J., committed to USC today over Penn State. USC has eight commits for the Class of 2022 and three are cornerbacks (Gould, Domani Jackson, Fabian Ross). None of the eight are offensive linemen. Now USC is bringing in a lot of offensive linemen for June visits, but so far it’s clear to see Donte Williams can recruit cornerbacks … Continue reading Four-Star Corner Commits To USC
Palaie Gaoteote appears to be transferring to Ohio State. Of course, he can’t just announce it. He’s apparently waiting for the first game to inform everyone the longest transfer saga ever is over. At least he chose a school where players get better. There is now a Palaie Gaoteote in the Ohio State directory. Ohio State has not confirmed the addition of the former 5-star … Continue reading Palaie Gaoteote At Ohio State?
