Offensive Lineman Picks Missouri Over USC
Former Houston offensive lineman Cam’Ron Johnson has committed to Missouri over USC. Johnson was an first-team all-conference guard at Houston and could have challenged for a starting guard spot at USC. USC will likely start Wyoming transfer Emmanuel Pregnon at left guard to start the season. San Diego State basketball player Keshad Johnson, who recently visited USC, is visiting Arizona this weekend. Willie Mays turned … Continue reading Offensive Lineman Picks Missouri Over USC
USC Saturday Buzz: A Little Different Start To Weekend
We will start off the weekend on a lighter note with former USC announcer Mike Walden in the opening segment of first Super Dave show on Showtime. Walden was a great guy off air and didn’t have a huge ego, unlike some USC announcers and, frankly, a lot of broadcasters. And it comes across in his Super Dave segments. Would USC Have Handled This Differently?

One loose end about the story of the Annenberg sports writers stealing jerseys at the NFL Draft. Police said three jerseys were taken and reports say two jerseys were found … Continue reading If It’s Friday, It’s Time For A USC Notes Column
An Easy Mistake To Make On Transfers
I’m seeing a lot of players entering the transfer portal and some media (usually recruiting centric) will mention it’s a four-star player or top 100 recruit, etc. This leads one to believe the college dropped the ball, especially on younger players who don’t have much experience, and remain unknown to fans. But at least two Pac-12 colleges I know that lost transfers did it because … Continue reading An Easy Mistake To Make On Transfers
USC Notes: Two Trojans Make Lott List
Safety Calen Bullock and linebacker Mason Cobb were among 42 players to be named watch list candidate for the Lott Trophy. Lincoln Riley spoke at the luncheon today in Newport Beach to announce the list. I put all 42 players at the bottom of this post. A month ago, USC’s odds to win the 2024 NCAA Tournament were 25-1. Today, the odds are 50-1. USC … Continue reading USC Notes: Two Trojans Make Lott List
