New USC Student-Athletes Group Speaks Out On Racial Injustice
USC track star Anna Cockrell, an NCAA champion in the 400-meter hurdles, has tweeted out a statement from a new group, United Black Student-Athletes Association. Below is the two-page letter from the group to Mike Bohn and the USC athletic administration. There’s an interesting passage where the group demands the right to free speech and no retaliation for protesting or making public statements.
