Morning Buzz: USC Snubbed By BCS
Have you been following the exploits of Gus “Duggs” Duggerton, USC’s new offensive coordinator from Barstool Sports’ Pardon My Take. Coach Duggs was undefeated until an upset loss to UCLA on Friday afternoon and then beat Stanford, 50-43, in the Pac-12 championship game Friday night. The outrage occurred when USC finished No. 3 in the BCS rankings and got excluded from the BCS title game. … Continue reading Morning Buzz: USC Snubbed By BCS
USC Lands 4-Star Receiver
Quaydarius Davis, a four-star WR from Dallas, committed to USC tonight. Davis (6-0, 198) previously committed to SMU and Texas. USC loses Tyler Vaughns and maybe Amon-Ra St. Brown after this season so it could use a receiver. Continue reading USC Lands 4-Star Receiver
Report: Clay Helton, Andy Enfield, Mike Bohn Take Pay Cuts

The Trojans just beat a 5-5 team with its backup QB and are pouring … Continue reading If It’s Friday, It’s Time For A USC Notes Column
How Many “Adopted Sons” Does Clay Helton Have?
USC coach Clay Helton was on with Fred Roggin and Rodney Peete today and spoke about JT Daniels. “JT wanted the opportunity to explore every option,” Helton said. “USC is one of those options and the door is left open for him. He is a terrific young man and he is one of my adopted sons. My fingers are crossed that he stays with us.” … Continue reading How Many “Adopted Sons” Does Clay Helton Have?
Here’s How USC Saves $400,000
If Carol Folt is telling the truth that USC has a $300-$500 million operational deficit for the upcoming fiscal year, then why isn’t its highest-paid employee taking a pay cut? I mean, seriously, Clay Helton is making videos with his picturesque ocean view in the background and probably getting around $4 million but he can’t take a 10 percent cut? He went 13-12 the past 2 … Continue reading Here’s How USC Saves $400,000
