Larry Scott is speaking at the Pac-12 meetings. Some highlights (lowlights): “We all believe our (league’s) fans think we’ve got the worst officiating in the country. Each of our fans tell us so.” “Our schools feel a great deal of financial pressure. They are falling behind (other Power 5 conferences).” “Our teams don’t break records (in paying coaches).” “I looked around the room in our … Continue reading Larry Scott On State Of Pac-12
The family of a Chinese student admitted to Stanford paid $6.5 million to William “Rick” Singer, according to the Los Angeles Times. This was the big fish everyone wondered about when the charges first came out because the federal govt. did not name the family involved. USC dodged a bad headline on this one. A Los Angeles police officer was thrown off his motorcycle and landed in a fountain at an entrance to USC after a Black SUV collided with another car. The SUV had Inglewood mayor James Butts. It was not known if he … Continue reading Every Day Something Happens At USC

LSU just got a commitment from Antoine Sampah, the No. 1-rated inside linebacker in the nation by Rivals. Sampah is from Woodbridge, Va. Remember when USC used to snag some top national players? Inevitably, someone will say, “doesn’t matter, USC will get Justin Flowe.” Flowe is the No. 3-ranked … Continue reading LSU Keeps Recruiting Circles Around USC
