Here’s some notes and quotes as USC goes another week that led to some questionable image making for the program. You would be shocked at the ridicule I heard this week from other college coaches/personnel that USC had to hire an interim equipment manager for the season because it could not successfully find a permanent candidate. “It’s not a job the public cares about but … Continue reading If It’s Friday, It’s Time For A USC Notes Column
I don’t really listen to Matt Leinart on football, especially USC, because he won’t criticize coaches because he doesn’t want to lose his special status/access at the McKay Center and Heritage Hall. When he goes off topic, I listen even less. But he can’t stop talking about COVID-19. Unbelievable. LA county’s latest mask mandate goes beyond current CDC and state of CA guidance even though … Continue reading Warning: Matt Leinart Talking Again
I spoke to another long-time season-ticket holder Wednesday who told me that he was going to attend the LSU-UCLA game on Sept. 4 at the Rose Bowl instead of the USC-San Jose State game. “I’d rather see LSU,” the booster told me. “USC will be there the following week and I’m not sure I’ll go that time either, but I’m sure I’m not going to … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: Season-Ticket Holder Makes Tough/Easy Choice

It will be interesting to see how balanced … Continue reading Reggie Bush To Participate In Documentary
I always like hostage photos. This picture of USC “head coaches and senior staff” seems to be missing someone, but I can’t figure out who. It also seems like former Cincinnati people are the biggest bloc represented. Don’t think that’s not noticed within the athletic dept. Note Andy Enfield in the middle, no doubt stewing over the lack of a contract extension, and not next … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: A Picture Worth 1,000 Words
USC wants to sell the historic Freeman House designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. It wants $4.25 million for the Hollywood Hills house, which is a 2,884-square-foot property, that features walls made of textile blocks,. The house was valued at $687,000, according to PropertyShark. In 2019, it emerged USC allowed the house to fall into disrepair and valuable items were stolen but not reported missing for … Continue reading USC Selling Another Historic House
