An Accurate Galen Center Attendance
This is an interesting development: USC’s official attendance for Saturday’s basketball game was 7,622. This seems . . . accurate. Capacity for the Galen Center is 10,258 but both sides of the upper deck had plenty of empty seats. The attendance figure is surprising because normally USC football attendances are inflated by at least 10,000. Some Strategic Music/Noise At Galen Center Prevents Negative Reaction
There is something to be said for the loud music at the Galen Center. When Clay Helton got introduced yesterday, you could start to hear some boos but the music kicked in at such a high volume you could not hear much after that. Maybe it was intentional. Quite A Day At Galen Center As USC Wins In Last Seconds
USC defeated UCLA in thrilling fashion and still perfectly illustrated why it can confound fans Saturday. The Trojans missed four free throws in crunch time but more importantly showed that Andy Enfield just lets his teams play in the final minutes with little plan. Did you see the possession where the Trojans didn’t know what to do and it forced Onyeka Okongwu to simply drive … Continue reading Quite A Day At Galen Center As USC Wins In Last Seconds
USC Morning Buzz: Game Day Is Here
The USC-UCLA game is finally here! Is a lot at stake? UCLA is assured a top 2 spot in the Pac-12. USC can sneak into the top 4 spots, which receive a bye in the first round of the conference tournament, if it wins today. I’ll provide some updates from the Galen Center, especially if the crowd keeps its contract to “cheer loud.” I’ll provide … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: Game Day Is Here
