If It’s Friday, It’s Time For A USC Notes Column
Clay Helton did not have a press conference on Signing Day earlier this month, the first time USC has skipped one in probably 40-50 years. But we now know Helton underwent three hours of oral surgery that day, according to Dennis Dodd of CBS Sports, who interviewed him that night. With that mind, give Helton credit. He looked pretty chipper on the Pac-12 Network’s Signing … Continue reading If It’s Friday, It’s Time For A USC Notes Column
Colorado Edges USC
Despite leading by 14 points in the first half, USC lost to Colorado in Boulder tonight. You will be shocked to know in the final few possessions, Elijah Weaver took an ill-advised 2-point perimeter shot and Daniel Utomi traveled trying to set up for a potentially game-tying 3-pointer with 18 seconds left. Being affordable or a former USC assistant was the … Continue reading USC Hires A Women’s Volleyball Coach
Is Colorado Really Going To Hire Steve Sarkisian?
I’ve tried to ignore the media reports about Steve Sarkisian being a top candidate at Colorado but they won’t go away. What does Colorado see in Sarkisian? He was a .500 coach at Washington and even if you ignore his issues at USC, the teams were average. Does the fact Nick Saban tolerates him make him a good candidate? How is being average a sign … Continue reading Is Colorado Really Going To Hire Steve Sarkisian?
Morning Buzz: USC Fans Tend To Be Very Nice
Another person who attended the Carol Folt event on Tuesday night in Santa Monica said that when alumni were allowed to ask questions, there was not a single question about football or sports. “She got off easy In the Q & A,” the person said. Can you imagine if an SEC school did a meet-and-greet featuring the president and had an underachiever as football coach? … Continue reading Morning Buzz: USC Fans Tend To Be Very Nice
